Our Story
Mount Dora began with a simple wish.
A place in Vagamon where families and friends could gather without hurry — where misty mornings, cool mountain air and green hills would do most of the hosting.
Not a hotel. Not a checklist of amenities. A private hillside stay with room to breathe, conversations that lengthen, and evenings that settle gently into the dark.
Where the idea took shape — a home among the hills.
The Beginning
Drawn to quieter days.
Vagamon has a way of softening the edges of a busy life. Meadows open toward distant slopes. Pine forests hold a cooler kind of silence. Tea gardens sketch green lines across the hills.
Mount Dora was shaped by that feeling — a private villa stay with four spacious rooms and bathroom attached, a swimming pool for slow afternoons, and outdoor spaces for campfire evenings when the mountain air turns cool.
We wanted guests to arrive and feel they had stepped into a sketch already begun: nature close, plans optional, time generously left open.
